Elizabeth continues this series from her book, God in Every Season, and lays a foundation for understanding which of the four seasons—winter, spring, summer, or fall—you are going through with the Lord in your personal life. In the same way in the natural world that it’s important to know what season you’re in so that you can prepare appropriately for the weather, it’s also important to know what season your soul is in so that you can be prepared, overcome the unique challenges that come with it, while getting the most out of it.
