An Introduction to the Mountain of Economy
In the area of culture referred to as ECONOMY, we see God as PROVIDER, the color GREEN. He is LOVE displayed as RICHES. These are the riches of God’s love expressed as the abundance of resources through our economy. Our world economic system was meant to reflect the heart of God as our Provider, and when it does, we will know it because there will be no lack. To the degree that love, as riches, is poured out as practical resources and basic needs are met for quality of life for all of humanity, we can know that God is involved in our economy — whether it’s our personal, national, or global economic status.
Satan uses the principality MAMMON (GREED) and the demonic strategy of the CANAANITES (LOVE OF MONEY) to distort the truth of who God is. God has given us a mighty archangel, ZERACHIEL, to fight for those called to this mountain.
The LIE being perpetuated about God in our current ECONOMIC SYSTEM is: IT’S POINTLESS TO TRUST GOD FOR OUR RICHES.
The TRUTH that we will learn to display in ECONOMY is: GOD ENJOYS PROVIDING FOR US AND THROUGH US.
The Face of God as Provider on the Mountain of Economy
Mammon gets overthrown when the lie behind Mammon gets overthrown by the truth of who God is as Provider. As we look at this aspect of God we see another beautiful face of the godhead. We remember that one of His primary names is Jehovah-Jireh, the God who is provision itself. From Genesis to Revelation we are shown a Provider God who delights in giving generously.
He shared with Adam and Eve His abundance of fruit trees He had provided for them. He promised and gave Abraham abundance of wealth. He enticed the children of Israel to their Promised Land by telling them of the abundance of everything good that they would find there. Throughout the Old Testament those who loved and trusted Him found themselves overflowing in abundance of provision.
In the New Testament through the person of Jesus He continued to reveal His generous heart.
Jesus’ first miracle was a provision miracle to make a wedding successful even though no actual ministry was taking place. He provided 180 gallons of the best wine that shocked the master of ceremonies who had never seen such a thing. Jesus provided more than enough for Peter’s taxes, more than enough for over 5,000 hungry people, more than enough for the disciples who had been fishing all night and catching nothing. God clearly loves to provide extravagantly and abundantly.
It becomes imperative for those who are called to the Mountain of Economy to understand and reveal who He is as Provider. The assignment on every mountain is to reveal Him as He is highlighted in that mountain and in doing so the enemy gets knocked out, the people rejoice, and the glory of God gets revealed.
Mammon is powerful in this area of society only for lack of a proper demonstration by God’s kids of what His capabilities are.
The foundation of our assignment here is to reveal the extravagant generosity and kindness of our God for every kind of human situation that requires funding. He doesn’t just fund ministry. He funds marriages, taxes, fishing, picnics and every other kind of need. The kingdom encompasses ministry assignments but also the other parts of our life. God cares about everything and He will provide abundantly for everything, if we can believe that about Him and come to Him for all of our provision needs. He’s always looking for joyous, trusting, risking children to be His ministers of wealth on the earth.
The Color Green on the Mountain of Economy
Green is the color associated with the Mountain of Economy because it reminds us of growth and prosperity. Even U.S. dollars are called green-backs. When something is green-lighted, we think of moving forward. Of course, in recent years, the expression “Go Green” reminds us to value the life and resources on our planet enough to conserve them. Our Provider is the source of all we value and of life itself. Green is another color of His love that our economy could use more of.
In chromotherapy, the study and science of healing through colors, it has been identified that the color green may relax nerves and assist the body as an antiseptic against harmful micro-organisms. It only makes sense that when our spirit knows it’s been provided for by God, it puts us at peace, strengthening our body’s defense against harmful lies from the enemy that would tempt us to believe He can’t be trusted to provide for us individually, as well as collectively as nations.
Our Assurance on the Mountain of Economy: God has Provision for You
When the face of God as Provider is correctly displayed as riches on the Mountain of Economy, it assures us that God has provision for us personally and as a society.
God can and wants to take care of all of that we need and our quality of life, especially as it relates to where we live, what we eat, and our physical appearance. He’s happy to supply more than enough for our needs and those we are responsible for. He wants to help us be successful financially in the assignments He’s given us and empower us to supply more than enough for others out of our abundance.
